Dual Band Integrated Wideband Multi Resonating Patch Antenna for C–Band and Ku–Band Applications

چکیده
A wideband antenna with dual band characteristic at 5.33/14.3 GHz resonating frequencies for wireless applications is presented. The strategy of the design to introduce multiband in band. Band width increases by embedding annular ring on radiating patch and four bands are achieved introducing coupling gap between patches. Surface current distribution analyzed different understanding radiation mechanism effect ring. parameters such as return loss, pattern, gain, VSWR group delay discussed. The impedance bandwidth proposed at lower resonant frequency is 12.7% (simulated) 9.8 % (measured) whereas upper 15.3 % 13.97 % (measured).The structures simulated HFSS tool structure fabricated verification results experiment.
